Internet and Network Technologies Program

With the increasing use of applications such as e-business, e-commerce, and e-government, the demand for network systems specialists who can design, install, operate, and secure the network infrastructures of medium- and large-scale organizations has grown significantly.

Graduates of the program acquire competencies in planning and installing system and network infrastructures, conducting needs analyses and selecting appropriate technologies, maintaining and repairing systems, performing basic and network programming tasks, backing up and upgrading systems, improving system performance, establishing networks, and ensuring network security.

Thanks to their training in current technologies, graduates can be employed as qualified technical personnel in information systems where computer networks play a critical role, in the IT departments of companies, and in telecommunications and GSM companies. As they gain professional experience, they may advance to positions such as IT manager or establish their own businesses in the field of information technologies.

Graduates may also pursue their own entrepreneurial initiatives or work in the IT, software, hardware, communication networks, and maintenance and repair services of public or private organizations.
