All of our technical programs are structured to provide students not only with professional knowledge and skills, but also with key competencies such as proficiency in Turkish and English, mathematical knowledge, understanding of science and technology, computer literacy, effective use of information technologies, learning to learn, the ability to work independently, communication skills, information management, business culture, quality culture, self-assessment, teamwork, entrepreneurship, occupational safety and law, cultural awareness, and the ability to express oneself effectively.
Health Information Systems Technology Program
The aim of the Health Information Systems Technology Program is to train qualified technical personnel who can work in a wide range of healthcare institutions and who have adequate knowledge and practical skills in computer use, operation of medical devices, and use of healthcare equipment.
Rapid developments in information technologies have enabled significant innovations and improvements in healthcare, as in many other disciplines. As the importance of information technologies in healthcare services continues to grow, effective use of these technologies has become essential for delivering healthcare services efficiently and with high quality.
Through education covering information technology use, databases, computer hardware, networks, automation systems, and medical devices, the program aims to meet the sector’s need for qualified technical personnel and to train graduates who also have the potential to conduct research and further develop their expertise in these areas.
